Ambient Recruiting is partnering with a busy e-commerce fulfillment center in Traverse City to hire Seasonal Warehouse Associates for the holiday season. This team helps online retailers pick, pack, and ship customer orders, and the holidays are when it matters most that every gift arrives on time.
If you like staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a team that keeps products moving, this is a good way to earn steady hours this fall. No warehouse experience is needed, and there are three schedule options, including a weekend-only team.
Schedule Details
- Team 1 (Sunday–Wednesday): Starts Sunday, November 15. Thanksgiving week runs Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, plus Black Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. Thursday, December 3 is an added day, making that a 50-hour week.
- Team 2 (Wednesday–Saturday): Starts Wednesday, November 18. Thanksgiving week runs Tuesday and Wednesday, plus Black Friday and Saturday, all 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. Tuesday, December 1 is an added day, making that a 50-hour week.
- Team 3 (Saturdays and Sundays): Start anytime. Extra hours are available after Thanksgiving.
- Volunteers are welcome for Thanksgiving Day shifts.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Pick products accurately using order lists and handheld scanners
- Pack customer orders securely to ensure safe delivery
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery
- Verify product quantities and order accuracy before shipping
- Use warehouse technology to track inventory and shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work efficiently to meet daily productivity and quality goals
- Support warehouse operations wherever needed
What We’re Looking For
Required:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, retail, or production experience
- Basic computer or handheld scanner experience
