Lead a Team That Hits Its Goals Every Shift

Ambient Recruiting is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Team Lead for a growing used-book business in Interlochen. The company processes thousands of books every day, giving them a second life through its local store and online sales nationwide while keeping them out of landfills.
You’ll run a 2nd shift production team of 7, with clear daily production and scan goals to hit. Your job is to keep the team on track, communicate changing priorities, coach people up to speed, and solve problems as they come up. If you’re a people person who can also hold others accountable, and you like seeing measurable results at the end of every shift, this role fits. Forklift training is provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and support a team of 7 on 2nd shift
• Track team performance against daily production and scan goals
• Communicate day-to-day changes in priorities clearly to the team
• Train and coach team members to help them meet expectations
• Have direct, constructive conversations with team members when production or scan goals fall short
• Solve problems as they come up during the shift
• Learn to operate the forklift (training provided)
