Ambient Recruiting is partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturer to identify an Off-Shift Electrician for its Whitehall, MI operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to join an established manufacturing environment and support critical production equipment through troubleshooting, maintenance, and electrical repairs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment used in manufacturing processes.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues and identify effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, instrumentation, and related equipment.
- Support reliable and efficient manufacturing operations through timely maintenance and repairs.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and applicable electrical safety requirements.
- Enter confined spaces when required and properly use respiratory protection equipment.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support equipment performance and plant operations.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one of the following:
- Journeyman Electrician card.
- Minimum of eight years of documented electrical experience.
- Completion of a bona fide electrical apprenticeship with a certificate verifying completion.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Ability to pass respirator fit testing and comply with facial hair requirements for proper respirator sealing.
Preferred:
- Master Electrician license.
