Build Production & Fulfillment Skills in a Fast-Paced Warehouse
Our client is hiring a Production Line Associate to join its 1st shift production and fulfillment team.
This position plays an important role in the company's book sorting and fulfillment operation. You'll work directly from a conveyor belt, evaluating book condition, scanning qualifying items into the company's software, and helping keep products moving efficiently through the warehouse.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable staying active throughout the workday, and interested in gaining experience in a production, warehouse, or fulfillment environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Line Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Scan and sort books and other items coming off the conveyor belt
- Evaluate book condition and accurately identify items that meet quality standards
- Scan books in good condition into the company's software system
- Follow the software's routing process to ensure products are directed to the correct destination
- Maintain an individual production goal of 240 scans per hour
- Move gaylords and other materials as needed to keep production stations stocked
- Operate a pallet jack to move product and materials throughout the warehouse
- Multitask between sorting, scanning, material handling, and other production responsibilities
- Maintain a steady and physically active pace throughout the shift
- Keep work areas organized and production stations running efficiently
- Work with coworkers to maintain consistent product flow and meet daily production goals
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures

- Steel-toe shoes required
- Ability to lift, move, and handle gaylords and other warehouse materials
- Ability to safely operate a pallet jack
- Ability to maintain sustained physical activity throughout the workday
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to meet established production and scanning expectations
