Duties
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change
- Assist customers with food service orders, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout shifts
- Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment
- Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Uphold food safety management practices by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong cashiering skills
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in food preparation, culinary tasks, or kitchen operations is a plus
