Real Talk
This is much more than a basic repair position. You'll spend most of your day working independently in customers' homes and at job sites, diagnosing problems, completing repairs, documenting your work, and providing professional customer service.
Technicians typically work 45-50 hours per week, so candidates should be comfortable with days that can extend beyond a traditional eight-hour schedule. Customer cancellations may occasionally result in a shorter day, and when possible, the coordinator may fill openings with another same-day appointment.
You'll also be traveling throughout Northern Michigan and working indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions. Success in this position requires mechanical ability, patience, adaptability, attention to detail, and the confidence to represent the company professionally without constant supervision.
If you enjoy figuring out why something isn't working, fixing it correctly, and leaving a customer with a positive experience, this could be an excellent fit.
