Ambient Recruiting is partnered with a manufacturing company seeking dependable and motivated Production Operators. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating production machinery while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Set up and align tooling in production machines according to specifications
- Position work pieces against fixtures or machine stops
- Start and monitor machines to detect malfunctions or misalignment
- Adjust machine settings, including air and oil pressure, as needed
- Inspect finished parts and materials for quality and accuracy
- Make machine adjustments to correct production errors
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery and work areas
- Follow production schedules and workplace safety procedures
- Use hand tools and inspection equipment as needed
- Support team productivity and quality goals
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers or micrometers is a plus
- Basic math and computer skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
